AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE VINTAGE SILK SATIN BROCADE PATCHWORK QUILT Handmade. Probably made in the 1920's-1930's of Silk Satin Brocades that are Antique & early 20th CMachine StitchedHeading has same fabric with different blocks on either sideThe fabrics are silk and/or satin brocade with 30+ single blocks damage/shattering & will continue to tear & shatter as some fragileThe fabrics are probably European in natureBack is a Embossed Ecru Coverlet with age yellowing/staining with a Peach dyed coverlet piece of back header. Measurements are 67.5" across X 87" longFull Size. In Antique Vintage Pre-Owned Used Condition with DamageShould be used for parts, pieces, studyPart of my Private collection of Antique/Vintage fabric & textiles that I started amassing in the early 90'sHandmade using blocks of Silk Brocades & Satin BrocadesSome to many single blocks are damaged/torn/shattered & some are fragile & will continue to shatter tear30+ single squares damageSome of the single pieces of fabric could have some staining or wearLarge tear in one with missing fabricMachine StitchedBacking Cotton Embossed Coverlet with age yellowing/staining/spots with header a different dyed coverlet piece to backDue to being handmade, irregularities ie may not be straight & not perfect, some blocks may not lay down flatThe camera did not catch the exact tones in all photosWhen deeply inhaled, no strong odors, but has been stored for yearsSmoke-free Home.
